The second meeting of the RESPONSe project  was held on July 10 in Zagreb, Croatia. Informest participates in the project, which kicked off in January, as Lead Partner. In the past months the project partners have been focusing on the collection of atmospheric and oceanographic data in their areas, in order to fully understand how temperatures and rainfalls are changing, what the trends in the past 30 years have been and what we can expect in the future. The meeting held in Zagreb, hosted by the Hrvoje Požar Energy Institute, was the opportunity to analyse the first collected data and to take stock of the missing ones. Furthermore project partners discussed the way local authorities will be able to use the data in order to programme in the best possible way planning measures in their territories.

 

It was held last 25th July in Mtskheta (Georgia), at National Intellectual Property Center of Georgia - Sakpatenti, second meeting of the Twinning project coordinated by Italian Ministry of Agricultural, Food, Forestry and Tourism Policies (MiPAAFT) - Department of the Central Inspectorate for Quality Safeguarding and Anti-frauds of Foodstuffs and Agricultural Products (ICQRF), with support of Informest for financial and administrative management.

 

The next meeting of the CRE:HUB project partners will take place on 25 and 26 July 2019 in Székesfehérvár and it is organized by Central Transdanubian Regional Innovation Agency.

The first day will start with a partner meeting to discuss about the improvement of actions plans in each region involved and future commitments of the CRE:HUB Project.

 

The first workshop of the project DIVA in the region of Friuli Venezia Giulia took place at Area Science Park’s headquarters in Trieste on 28 June 2019. The event was organised by Area Science Park, in cooperation with Autonomous Region Friuli Venezia Giulia, Informest and Friuli Innovazione.

The workshop gathered around 90 participants, including representatives of traditional companies as well as enterprises, professionals and associations of the cultural and creative sectors.

 

On Monday 29 April, a meeting was held in San Pietro al Natisone during which ATZ Projekt, partner of the PRIMIS project (MULTICULTURAL JOURNEY BETWEEN ITALY AND SLOVENIA THROUGH THE PRISMA DELLE MINORANZE) presented the multimedia centre SMO (Slovensko multimedialno okno - Slovenian multimedia window), the interactive museum of landscapes and narratives of the aspects characterizing the culture of the territory on the border between Italy and Slovenia.

 

The Tessitori Hall of the Regional Council, in Oberdan square in Trieste, will hold the public event “the commitment of the public authorities on climate change – new working patterns”, on Wednsday the 29th of May, at 9 a.m. The event is organized as part of the project SECAP, funded by the Interreg Italia-Slovenia 2014-2020 program.

 

 

The 29th of April, in Venice, took place the kick-off meeting of SACHE project funded by Interreg Central Europe programme, which main goal is to foster transnational cooperation in Central Europe in order to improve living and working conditions in the cities and regions of the area throughout the development of smart, sustainable and inclusive growth in the sectors of innovation, the low-carbon economy, natural and cultural heritage and transports.

 

Tuesday 21st May 2019 will be held in Udine the national conference for the launch of the GPP-Stream Project, funded by the Interreg Europe programme.

 

On March 28th, in Venice, at the headquarters of the Palazzo Grandi Stazioni of the Veneto Region, took place the kick-off meeting of PRIMIS "Multicultural journey between Italy and Slovenia through the prism of minorities". The project of a duration of 36 months, is funded with € 2.83 million of EU funds under the Interreg Italy-Slovenia.

 

Informest and Friuli Venezia Giulia Autonomous Region – International Relationship Dept. will be present with own stand (Pad. 9, stand D 11) at the international exhibition EXCO2019, the first and global expo dedicated to the development co-operation, that will be held at Roma Exhibition Centre on 15-17 May.

The main national and international key players, Government representatives, development agencies, international organizations, financial institutions and civil society, involved in the development cooperation activities, will discuss about the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) as opportunities for the private sector and the job creation.

The final conference of the project "PATH DEV - Pilot action in the fishing sector for Libyan economic development" was held in Udine last 2nd April. The project, funded by the Italian Ministry of the Interior, was managed by Friuli Venezia Giulia Autonomous Region with the operational support of Informest.

A Libyan delegation of 35 experts, leaded by the mayors of Tripoli, Benghazi, Zliten and Sirte, has participated at the conference, illustrating the current situation of the fishing sector in Libya. The representatives of the national authorities responsible for the food safety, certification and the labelling of the product were the speakers together the representatives of the Italian civil servants, acting in the same fields. The goal of the conference and of the project overall was a comparison with the regional experts on the opportunities of the fishing sector, taking stock of the activities and the results reached thanks to the actions of the PATH DEV project.

 

It was held on 3rd April,  at Informest headquarters the 3rd laboratory on blue energy “BEL FVG”.

The “BEL FVG” was established in February 2018 as part of the “Maestrale” project and counts about 30 participants, including the FVG regional administration, universities, research centres and companies.

The BEL FVG has been designed as a permanent monitory centre to share experiences and regional know-how on the topic renewable energies: in 2018, BEL FVG tried to identify two pilot actions to be developed in FVG’s territory.

 

On the 10th and the 11th of April, in Trieste, was held the kick off meeting of the UnderwaterMuse territorial cooperation project funded by Interreg Italy-Croatia Program.

The partnership, led by ERPAC, supported by INFORMEST, is composed by Italian and Croatian foundations and research institution such as: Cà Foscari University, Puglia Region, Kastel City (Croatia) and Split County Development Agency - RERA.

The project will last 30 months with a budget of € 1,286,930. UnderwaterMuse incorporates the principles of Faro Convention and aims at the enhancement, promotion and usability of the underwater archaeological heritage of the partner territories thanks to innovative actions and a continue dialogue with its stakeholder.

 

DIVA, a strategic project funded by the Interreg Italy-Slovenia Program, was created with the aim of linking the creative sectors with the industrial sectors in order to create an innovative eco-system able to face international markets thanks to the application of "Smart" technologies in an economic and social contest. 
DIVA will establish cross-border ecosystem connections between existing and new transdisciplinary innovation platforms, which will enable processes of co-creation in the economic and social sphere through art thinking, design thinking, and different social initiatives. 
On 18th of March 2019, the Venice Rovigo Chamber of Commerce, leader of the project, brought together all the 14 project partners for the Kick-Off meeting in Mestre and launched the first project activities. 

 

The 18th and the 19th February 2019 in Athens will take place the second meeting for SMATH project - Smart atmospheres of social and financial innovation for innovative clustering of creative industries in MED area, funded by the Transactional Cooperation Program Interreg MED. The project lasts three years and it aims at improving quality and quantity of the connections between the cultural and the creative section, using innovative forms of aggregations – smart atmospheres.

During the meeting Informest will have the opportunity to discuss about results and the planification of upcoming activities participating together with the Culture and Sport Department of the Autonomous Region Friuli Venezia Giulia.

 

Informest will work alongside the Central Directorate for environment and energy of the Autonomous Region Friuli Venezia Giulia for the management of the Strategic Project “Support to energy and climate adaptation policies” (acronym SECAP), funded under the Crossborder Cooperation Program V-A Interreg Italy-Slovenia 2014-2020 whose launch event will be the next 19th February 2019 at the Sala Tessitori of Regional Council in Trieste.

The Project aims at offering a practical support to the area partner Municipalities for the adoption and execution of sustainable energetic policies and of climate changes adaptation.

 

On 23 January 2019, the Istria County will host the Third Project Coordination meeting as well as the Third Technical and Steering meetings. Partners will gather in Pula to discuss the progress made in the implementation of the project and plan the activities to be carried out in the third and last semester.

Work will be hectic: mobility will take place and the common international modules will be tested, with a view to yield a mutual credit recognition scheme that can work and be capitalised. 

 

The European project SISMA financed by the program Interreg Med with Informest as Lead partner and APE FVG – Agency for Energy of Friuli Venezia Giulia as technical partner, is going to its end after two years activities. The next 21th of June it will take place in Nova Gorica (Slovenia) the final conference.

The event will offer a precious opportunity to compare significant experiences of different European countries in the field of energy refurbishment of public buildings.

 

INFORMEST and APE FVG organize a series of meetings to present an innovative and effective tool to monitor energy consumption in public buildings

 

Everything is ready for the presentation of “SET - Subsidy Evaluation Tool” of the project SISMA - Energy retrofit in Public Buildings financed by the Interreg MED Program, coordinated by Informest.

The SET Tool is an instrument that can be used by municipalities to evaluate energy saving measures for public buildings, that calculates the minimum amount of public intervention needed to make an investment bankable.

 

The second meeting between the CaRe project partner, funded by the Interreg V Italy-Austria program and aimed at identifying a common model of Case & Care management for the management of social welfare services for the elderly was held on April 5th.

 

The next 18 and 19 April will be held in Rome, at the Auditorium del Massimo, a two-day event dedicated to INTERREG MED projects.

MADE in MED event will present the first results of over 90 projects. The two days will be an opportunity to transmit the idea and values ??of co-working, of sharing knowledge and innovation, but also to look to the future of cooperation in the Mediterranean.

 

The IV Steering Committee meeting of SISMA project will be held Wednesday 20th and Thursday 21st December in Alzira (Spain). The project – in which Informest plays as Lead partner - aims at developing innovative financial schemes to support the investment of the Public Administration for the deep energy renovation of public buildings. Eight partners from five European countries and one from Bosnia-Herzegovina, will define the final version of “SET - Subsidy Evaluation Tool”, a model to facilitate the assessment of the economic return on investments in energy efficiency. In particular, the tool determines the minimum amount of public subsidy needed to make an investment bankable. It is a simplified tool that does not require in-depth energy expertise for its compilation and with a “light” training the tool can be easily used by Public bodies to choose the building on which prioritize interventions/investments. In the next months of 2018 SISMA partners will organize training courses for civil servant on “SET - Subsidy Evaluation Tool” and the nation workshops to present the tool to a wider public.

 

“Innovation for the development of marine energies in the Mediterranean” is the title of the event organised by the Horizontal Project InnoBlueGrowth (IBG), that will be held in Naple on 27th – 28th November 2017. 
Focus of the event will be the blue energies, and the first results of the two modular projects MAESTRALE and PELAGOS, started in November 2016 and funded by INTERREG MED Programme. 

 

The next meeting of the CRE:HUB project partners will take place on 14 and 15 November in Pamplona and it is organized by  the Culture, Sport and Youth department of the Government of Navarra. The first day will start with a partner meeting to discuss about reached results, ongoing activities and future commitments of the CRE:HUB Project.

After a working lunch to which stakeholders are welcome, the study visit will start in the afternoon with a guided walking tour to explore the cultural heritage and modern architecture of Pamplona, and will continue with a visit to “La Milagrosa”, the future creative district of Pamplona.

 

The forthcoming Annual Congress "Choosing a Way for Energy Efficiency in Public Buildings in the Mediterranean: Guidelines on Policies and Practices" will be held in Nice on 4 and 5 October, organized by the MEDNICE project network, an horizontal project funded by the Mediterranean Program aimed at the creation of a network of administrations and public bodies in the Mediterranean countries active in the energy field, sharing results and objectives of energy efficiency. To the MEDNICE thematic community also belongs SISMA, a project aimed at developing innovative financial schemes that support public sector investment in energy refurbishment of public buildings, in which Informest operates as lead partner, with the collaboration of APE FVG - the Friuli Venezia Giulia Energy Agency - as a technical partner, together with six other technical players from Spain, France, Slovenia, Italy, Bosnia and Greece.

 

The next meeting of the CRE:HUB project partners will take place on 5 and 6 September 2017 in Cesis, Sigulda and Riga organized by University of Latvia.

The first part of the day of the study visit is dedicated to the medieval Hanseatic city of Cesis, one of the oldest cities in Latvia rich of cultural and historical heritage. It is recognised as one of the creative cities in the country. Partners and stakeholders will have the occasion to visit the Cesis castle complex, Vidzeme Concert Hall as well as the Culture and creative industries centre (CCI) and CCI co-working space Skola6.

 

It will be held in Dubrovnik the final conference of AgriBusiness- Agriculture Heritage Capitalization in Dubrovnik-Herzegovina Cross-Border Region.

The project is aimed at strengthening the cross-border rural economic development and competitiveness of typical regional agriculture production sector. Its specific objectives are:  Capitalization of agriculture heritage in Dubrovnik-Herzegovina cross-border area; Stimulating access to regional and EU markets for local agriculture producers. Target groups are farms and SMEs in agriculture sector, institutions and NGOs, dealing with rural development, agricultural associations and cooperatives, retailers and distributers in food processing and tourism.

 

The 2nd and 3rd Field Visit of the MAESTRALE Project will take place in Sweden on 5 and 7 July, as well as the 3rd Steering Committee. In detail, on July 5 in Göteborg will be held the visit of the company Minesto, a marine energy technology developer that develops Deep Green, an innovative technology for the production of electricity from marine currents. Afterwards, a visit will be held at Wave4Power, which develops the WaveEL system (wave energy). On July 6, the 3rd Field Visit will take place at the Lovén Center Kristineberg Marine Technology Laboratory with the presentation of the Skagerrak Laboratory site, the SeaFarm project (marine biomass) and the company SeaTwirl (offshore floating wind). Finally, on July 7, the 3rd Steering Committee will be held, during which will be addressed the administrative and technical aspects of the MAESTRALE Project.

L’incontro è organizzato in collaborazione con Federsanità ANCI del FVG, e alla tavola rotonda saranno presentate esperienze regionali, nazionali e del Regno Unito da Social Finance, Human Foundation, Federsanità ANCI FVG.

 

On Friday 19 May 2017 at 2 pm, Italian consortium Cortexa will be presenting a webinar seminar titled “How to design a building of the future”.

In the meeting the MED project “SISMA - Supporting Innovative Schemes in the MED Area” will be presented by the Florence Agency for the Energy. SISMA project aims at developing innovative financing schemes based on European Structural Funds and other public funds to finance significant energy retrofits of public building. The project involves 8 partners from 6 MED Countries (Italy, Greece, Spain, France, Bosnia&Herzegovina and Slovenia) and INFORMEST manages the project as Lead Partner.

The workshop will explain the activities of SISMA project and will present a case study of the Tuscany Region to proceed with a further discussion of the guidelines to follow while constructing energy efficient and safe buildings.

Community building event for the INTERREG MED Program selected Modular and Horizontal Projects, “WE are MED. Going beyond thematic communities” will take place in Alicante-Spain,  on the 17th of May 2017.

The key point of the event is to emphasise the inherent knowledge of the 8 thematic communities of the projects approved after the 1st call for projects in 2016, in order for them to acquire a greater degree of self-awareness and certainty on methodologies and aims by sharing practices between each other.

 

The next meeting of the CRE:HUB project partners will take place on 3rd and 4th May 2017 in Trieste, hosted by Friuli Venezia Giulia Region Regional Department for culture, sports and solidarity.

The first day of the meeting will see the partners outline the further development of the project and coordinate their future activities then partners and stakeholders will in a study visit to discover the important job of FVG Film Commission.

 

The event organized within the InnoBlueGrowth Horizontal project, funded under the INTERREG Med Programme, will take place in  Villa Celimontana, Rome, on 6 and 7  April.

The main objective of the InnoBlueGrowth project is to ensure the communication and capitalization of projects results, addressing Blue Growth issues as Blue energy,  Maritime surveillance and Yachting. The aim is to increase their impacts towards common identified targets. Activities are focused on the increase of the transnational activity of innovative clusters and networks of key sectors of the Mediterranean area.

 

The workshop is organised in the frame of the project "Renew School", financed by the European Intelligent Energy Programme, which aims to promote the renovation and the energy efficiency of school buildings through the use of an external enclosure system with prefabricated modular elements in wood.

The objective of the workshop is to provide to planners and architects ideas and innovative solutions for the use of this system during the renovation of buildings, especially public, with focus also on regulatory, structural and energy calculation elements.

The next meeting of the CRE:HUB project partners will take place on 1 and 2 February 2017 in Ljubljana, the centre of the Ljubljana Urban Region where over 40% of all companies in Slovenia’s cultural and creative industries are based. The region is distinguished by a wealth of knowledge and creative potential, as well as key stakeholders who bring together creativity, new technologies, and research to create jobs, innovative products, and services with high added value. One such stakeholder is the Regional Development Agency of the Ljubljana Urban Region (RRA LUR), which works in the framework of the Regional Creative Economy Centre (RCKE) to promote the cooperation of the creative sector with the economy. As a CRE:HUB project partner, RRA LUR is the organiser of the partner meeting.

 

Project partners and teachers from the schools and educational institutes involved in BlueSKILLS project will meet for the second educational workshop leaded by VET System experts in the Adriatic area to work on a Feasibility study useful to harmonize the schools’ features to VET System rules and criteria, and to produce guide lines for the mobility in order to enhance a common evaluation system, improve the quality of service for the students and a consequent  standardization of the services in the regions involved.

During the second day of the meeting teachers will participate study visits to schools and vocational institutes for a progressive and direct exchange among teachers, students and hosting centers according to Go&Learn e Go&Learnet strategies in order to create the precondition for the future Adriatic network of students mobility.

As partner of CAPTAIN project Informest organises  a training aimed at port operators and managers of the Adriatic-Ionian area dealing with the demand of services to people with different needs and reduced mobility (disabled persons, elderly, minors, pregnant women, etc.) in port terminal structures of the area. The training intends to offer a better understanding of disability and how to meet different needs, aiming to facilitate the integration of Adriatic-Ionian ports with the hinterland.

 

The conference "The Strategic Development of the Phytosanitary Sector in BiH – Results and Lessons Learned under the EU-funded Twinning Project EU-FITO-BiH is now taking place at the BiH Parliamentary Assembly.

 
 

The EUFITO-BiH twinning project is organizing the high level conference “Strategic development of phytosanitary sector in BiH – results and lessons learned under the EU funded twinning project EU-FITO-BiH”, which will be held on Thursday 3rd November 2016 at the BiH Parliamentary Assembly in Sarajevo.

The conference is expected to open the discussion about the current phytosanitary regime in BiH and the obligations deriving from the EU integration path. The Polish experience of pre-accession period will be presented to show the challenges facing BiH. The project results obtained till now will be presented, aiming at standardizing the phytosanitary control system.

 

 

On Friday 7th October the “Renew School” project was presented during the workshop “Energy efficiency: a challenge for muncipalities”, organized by KlimaHaus – Agenzia Casa Clima at the Fair “Casa su Misura” in Padua, in the frame of a workshop focused on school building, where Informest will present the project “Renew School” , its activities and scenarios for its applicability in other contexts .

 

After the Kick-off meeting in Ancona, the second working group meeting  between the project partners and the VET experts took place in Udine. The project partners defined a common strategy on how to manage workshops with participating schools. As a matter of fact, BlueSKILLS project, which wants to capitalize the previous and positive experience of Kepass, the “Erasmus in the Adriatic”, aims to create a strong network in order to create mobility between students based on EUSAIR strategy’s principles.

During the first workshop in Podgorica from 4th to 6th October, schools will be divided into small working groups and the results will be summarized in the Feasibility study in order to get a complete overview of the main criteria to develop a Mobility between schools with a common evaluation system.

 

Tomorrow Thursday, September 15th 2016 at Faculty of Maritime studies, Studentska 2, in Rijeka partners of CAPTAIN project will meet again for a coordination meeting and Project  MIDTERM EVENT. The public event will start at 14.15.

The event will be open by hosting partner Intermodal Transport Cluster that will present Italy – Croatia programme. 

LP of the project Autonomous Region of Friuli Venezia will illustrate the work carried out by the subgroup on transport for EUSAIR Pillar 2 “Connecting the Region” and the status of the Adriatic-Ionian Maritime Passenger Transport Observatory.

 

It was held in Trieste on July 15, at the Regional Council Palace, the 1st EUSAIR INFODAY of the CAPTAIN project, organized by the Central Directorate for infrastructure and territory of the Autonomous Region Friuli Venezia Giulia and Informest, respectively Lead Partner and the project partner, dedicated to the capitalization of transport models in the Adriatic-Ionian area to support the development of EUSAIR.

The public event was an opportunity to raise awareness of the territory on the strategy for the Adriatic-Ionian macro-region (EUSAIR) and illustrate how CAPTAIN intends to capitalize the results of AdriaticMoS, EA SEA-WAY and ADRIMOB projects financed by the IPA Adriatic Cross-border Cooperation Programme.

It was held last Thursday, June 30th, the technical workshop organized by Informest within the Renew School project, entitled "Innovative construction for high efficiency timber requalification".

The workshop was held  in the frame of the V Passivehaus Congress of Friuli Venezia Giulia organized by Regional Agency for Energy and was focused on passive house and on principles, opportunities and solutions for houses with high energy efficiency and was an important event for networking among professionals.

 

 

It is planned for next Thursday, June 30th, the technical workshop organized by Informest within the Renew School project, entitled "Innovative construction for high efficiency timber requalification".

 

In the frame of the project Renew School, funded by the European Programme Intelligent Energy #IEE, Technical University of Denmark #DTU, partner of the project, has organized on 26th May 2016 a technical workshop entitled "Deep #retrofit in school buildings", with the aim to involve and inform key stakeholders and Danish designers about the opportunities and benefits of using modular elements in wood for the construction / renovation of school buildings.

 

It will be held in Aalborg (Denmark) on May 25th the technical workshop "High indoor environmental quality and energy efficient ventilation in renovated school buildings: winning concepts and examples", organized by #Politecnico Milano, partner of RenewSchool project.
