The fourth meeting of the partners in the project RENEW SCHOOL took place in Stuttgart, Germany, from 18 to 20 November 2015. Partners reviewed the results of previous activities and coordinate activities in the next six months. The meeting was also attended by representative of the European Agency EASME.

 

The European Commission and the Education, Audiovisual and Culture Executive Agency are organising an Infoday in Brussels to explain the funding opportunities available under "Knowledge Alliances" and "Sector Skills Alliances". Web streaming will take place during the event.

 

The workshop entitled “Promoting sustainable energy – Data quality to support local action” is organized in the metropolitan city of Turin on the 19th November. The event isunder the Covenant of Mayors and the European project DATA4ACTION. Tuesday, November 17, Emilia-Romagna  Region will host the event "A sea of challenges in the Adriatic and Ionian Area" in the Great hall in Viale A. Moro 30 - from 9:30 to 17:00.

The meeting is one of the local events organized for the Open Days in 2015 and follows the seminar held on June 8th, at CNR-INAF of Bologna, on the coastal marine system. The event is organized by the Emilia-Romagna together with Ismar-CNR, CNR-INAF, ISAC-CNR, ENEA Bologna and Clu srl.

 

From the 19th till the 21st of November, Friuli Innovazione will host in Udine “Arts/Tech/Biz MASH UP”, the event mashing creatives, IT experts, makers, startuppers from Friuli Venezia Giulia, Slovenia and Austria in the development of business projects for the valorization of the territory.

The first trilateral free event that will meet and work together the artist with the computer technician, the maker with the project manager, the designer with the startupper, to transform simple ideas into real business projects!

 

The S3 Platform together with the Regional Government of Emilia-Romagna are organising jointly the first Peer eXchange & Learning (PXL) workshop on RIS3 monitoring.

PXL – Peer eXchange and Learning is a methodology developed by the S3 Platform for supporting transnational learning in the context of regional and national Smart Specialisation Strategies and territorial innovation and development strategies in general.

The workshop will take place on the 10 November 2015 in the Sala Poggioli in the palace of Regione Emilia-Romagna.

 

The 3rd Urban Development Network – seminar will be held on 24 November 2015 in Brussels, Belgium, at Atelier des Tanneurs (rue des Tanneurs 60A).

The Urban Development Network is a newly created network targeted towards those urban authorities implementing integrated sustainable urban development strategies funded via Article 7 of the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF).

 

ExpoItalia will be held in Brussels from 27 to 29 November 2015; is the most important only-Italian event and is held every two years in the European capital.

Organized by the Chamber of Commerce Belgo – Italian, with the support of the Italian Ministry of Economic Development and in collaboration with ICE and the Italian Cultural Institute in Brussels, ExpoItalia pays tribute to the Made in Italy consisting of food and wine, tourism and culture, but also technology, services, business opportunities and investment for businesses.

 

The European Culture Forum will take place in Bruxelles on 26-27 November. This year's Forum will consist of two full days of debates, including larger plenary sessions focusing on the main aims of the European Agenda for Culture.

Plenary sessions will be launched by thought-provoking inspirational speeches, followed by panel debates bringing in experiences, views and questions from the audience.

 

On 6th November will be held in Brussels the Info Day on the Smart Cities & Communities topic under the Horizon 2020 Work programme 2016-2017 ‘Secure, Clean and Efficient Energy’.

The event targets potential applicants to the calls for project proposals under the 'Smart Cities & Communities topic' of the Horizon 2020 ‘Secure, Clean and Efficient Energy’. Presentations will cover the Smart Cities & Communities part of the Work Programme for 2016-2017 and the application procedure, as well as detailed information on the calls. Participants will have numerous networking opportunities throughout the day.

 

INTERACT is organizing an Evaluation Plan Workshop for Cross-border Programmes in Vienna for the 12th November 2015. The event wants to give to cross-border programmes the opportunity to exchange experiences in drafting their evaluation plan.

 

It will be held on November 12 in Belgrade, Serbia, the event for the Economic Forum entitled “Investing in Serbia: opportunities and regulations”.The meeting will be hosted at the Serbian Chamber of Commerce.

The conference will be structured in two parts: one starting at 16, and a second beginning at 18.30.

It will be held in Trieste from 24th to 27th October the 24th World Convention of Abroad Italian Chambers of Commerce (CCIE). The Managing Authority organizes a 'road show' of five events, one for each province and one for the mountain area, to present the guidelines of the ROP ERDF 2014-2020 programming. Each meeting will cover an in-depth "focus " to program thematic area. The events of the Road Show to present the ROP ERDF 2014-2020 of the Region Friuli Venezia Giulia will be held from 20th October to 5th November.

Wednesday 14th October there will be in Tirana the Italian Albanian Debt for Development Swap Agreement (IADSA) Launching Conference of the 4th Call for Proposals. The event will take place in the Conference Room of the Palace of Congresses. The meeting is organized by the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Albania and the Italian Embassy in Tirana, through the Management Committee of IADSA. The event will be from 9.30 (at 9 a.m. there will be registrations) to 11.30.

The conference aims to present the 4th call for proposals target to new Albanian Municipalities for social sector projects, in line with the Italian-Albanian Development Cooperation Programme. The conference will also provide an opportunity for meetings between public eligible Albanians authorities and Italian and Albanian potential partners

 

Tuesday 13th October from 9.30 at the Auditorium of Regione Friuli Venezia Giulia in Udine there will be the launch event of the Regional Operational Programme (POR) FESR 2014-2020 “Investments in favour of growth and occupation”. The event, titrated ”Public policies in the transition economy. Strategies, activity lines, resources, timing and implementation stages of the program”.

 

8 -9 October there will be in Canary Islands a workshop about Blue Growth and Smart Specialisation.  Most countries and regions across Europe now have in place Research and Innovation Strategies for Smart Specialisation (RIS3), as a result of the European Union's new results orientated Cohesion Policy. They now face the challenge of moving from strategy making to implementation, through tailored policy mixes and tools, including the use of European Structural and Investment Funds. To help launch this process, this workshop will bring together national and regional policy makers that identified 'Blue Growth' as a priority in their RIS3.

The workshop is part of 13th Open Day (Bruxelles 12 – 15 October) and  is organised jointly by the government of the Canary Islands and the S3 Platform.

 

What is the social value of culture? How to work to resist to the change of times, developing industry creativity, innovation, solidarity, the promotion of participation and sustainable development strategies? From these question a new edition of Fattidicultura was developed. Fattidicultura 2015 will be held in Mantova from the 8th to the 10th of October. Fattidicultura is laboratory of ideas and experiences in harmony with the changing world. Culture is a growth and development factor, around this idea there are created 17 events.

 

Friday 9th October at 10 a.m in Udine, at the hall of Provincial Council (Palazzo Belgrado, piazza Patriarcato) there will be the final event of Rural Development Programme 2007-2013 of Friuli Venezia Giulia. The event foresees a series of speeches to present the new planning for 2014-2020. In addition to the institutional interventions by the Director of the agricultural resources of the Region, Francesco Minussi, and by the managing authority of RDP 2007-2013 of Friuli Venezia Giulia, Serena Cutrano.

 

The OPEN urban DAY will be about exchanging and networking but also exploring, understanding and learning. The participants have the opportunity to visit some interesting projects, examples of good practices to tackle challenges faced by urban areas across Europe.

Belgrade Investment Days is a new Annual investment programme of Serbia and South East Europe. The inaugural conference will be held in Belgrade 21- 22 September 2015. City of Belgrade, Belgrade Chamber of Commerce and Central European Development Forum – CEDEF  are the organisers of this innovative Annual Investment Programme which connects East and West, bringing together the business and financial community.

Belgrade Investment Days is a unique platform that links international investors and attractive projects in Serbia and Southeast Europe. The Inaugural Conference will be held on 21-22. 13th Edition of Wuropean week for region and cities will be held on 12-15 October 2015 in Bruxelles.

With the headline of 'Europe's regions and cities: partners for investment and growth' 2015 will be structured around three thematic priorities:

  1. 'Modernising Europe': The regions in the energy Union and the single digital market
  2. 'Regions open for business': SME development, innovation and job creation

On 9th and 10th June EA SEA-WAY partners will meet in Pula to discuss the state of the art of project  activities and the organization of open days and regional events of to present to public the investments and the pilot actions that will involve the Adriatic ports participating to the project.

During the Cross Fertilization Workshop it will discussed the role of common projects and initiatives in the development of sustainable passenger transport models within the Adriatic – Ionian area and the possibilities of project funding in the framework of cross-border and transnational cooperation programmes within the EU Programming period 2014 – 2020. It will be presented  past, ongoing and future planned projects and initiatives on projects: AdriaticMos (Adriatic Motorways of the Sea),ADRIAIR (Airport Security and Air Taxi Network in the Adriatic) and a Project for the Construction of the passenger terminal in the Port of Pula (cape Guc).

The Interreg Europe Workshop will held on June 10th and 11th in Brussels. A day and a half of practical exercises and guidance on how to prepare your project ideas for the first call for proposals  under Interreg Europe. Practical exercises will help you understand programme application criteria. You will have a chance to exchange experience in project development with other participants. And you can also discuss your project idea further with the organizers during individual consultations.

This workshop is for lead applicants. That means only representatives of institutions with a developed project idea can participate. So, if you have sent the project idea feedback form and received the feedback from the managing authority  that your idea is relevant to the programme objectives, you are invited to register to the workshop.

 

The County of Istria, partner of the project KEPASS, is again engaged in training: will take place tomorrow, May 26 in Porec, a course for teachers on the exchange of knowledge in school systems: why is important how to promote it.

The main theme of the course, which will be held by Dr. Silvana Brunelli Tiani, is collaboration: how to  teach it, how to implement it come in several contexts: in class, in school, in between schools. The target audience will be teachers of the schools in the region accredited in the program Kepass mobility, held in the first quarter of the Year.

In a sign of collaboration it was held on May 12 in Rovinj another KEPASS event that saw the birth of the collaboration between the provincial councils of students in the Region of Istria and Friuli Venezia Giulia.

 

The final event of the Project REMIDA focused on: "Energy Efficiency improvement of public buildings from Friuli Venezia Giulia to the Mediterranean: regulations and success stories."was held in Gorizia on May 13th. The Conference was opened by: Mara Černic, Vice President of the Province of Gorizia, Sara Vito, Regional Councillor FVG for environment and energy, Roberto Sartori, deputy mayor of Gorizia, Enrico Bertossi, president of Informest and Rupert Gole, mayor of the municipality of Šentrupert Slovenian.

 

Tomorrow, May 13 from 9.00 at Palazzo Attems, Piazza De Amicis 2 - Gorizia will take place the final event of the Project Remida, funded by the MED Programme. Themes of the conference will be: Efficient Energy Management in the municipality area, Energy Efficiency and Intelligent Community, the Public Private Partnership and Regulatory.

It will be held in Senigallia, Thursday, May 14, at the Hotel City, the final conference of the project Kepass which aims to promote European integration through the schools. The project, funded under the program IPA CBC Adriatic, in the course of its two years of operation, has launched, on an experimental basis, a system of mobility of students from high schools in the region Adriatic-Ionian macro-based mutual recognition of school credits. There were involved 27 schools, in all the territories involved, which hosted 105 students.

The conference BUILDING AND WOOD - RESTRUCTURING WITH SUSTAINABLE TECHNIQUES will be held on May 12 2015 at the Austrian pavilion at EXPO Milano. Friday, April 10, at 9:30 am, will be held at the Learning Center naturalistic Basovizza 224 - Trieste the final conference of the project Julius "Cultural heritage valorization and use of infrastructure in the crossborder area of the Julian Alps" of which the town of Monfalcone is leader.

Speakers will be Gualtiero Pin, Environment Counsellor of Monfalcone Municipality and the responsible of the Joint Technical Secretariat of the Programme CBC ITA - SLO 2007-2013.

Rada Orescanin, Municipality of Monfalcone, will present the project results, Saverio D’Eredità, Informest will illustrate Guide Julius, while representatives of the Park Julian Alps and of Triglav Slovenian National Park will describe the activities carried out in the two protected areas. Today at 8 p.m at Sala Civica in Farra d’Isonzo experts from Nomisma Energia will explain contents and objectives on Action Plans for Sustainable Energy of Municipalities of Farra d’Isonzo, Capriva del Friuli, San Lorenzo Isontino and Mossa to interested stakeholders. 9th and 10th March project partners of Kepass project will meet in Rovinji principals and tutors of schools that participated to mobility programme. After two months from the conclusion of trimester that hundred students spent abroad, the meeting has the aim to evaluate the project work, discuss educative and logistic aspects of mobility period and to present proposal for a possible prosecution of the project.

15 Istrian students will talk about their experience abroad and will present a video realised by foreign students that studied in the school of Istria Rgion from September till December 2014.

 

It will be held on 12th March a Workshop on the way to achieve indoor quality for our children with cost effective investition by nearly Zero-Energy Buildings (nZEB) standard together with the HOME Fair  in Ljubljana Exhibition and Convention Centre, followed by a frontrunner visit on school renovation on nZEB standard.

The purpose of the Technical Workshop for Professionals and Architects is to demonstrate state of the art and trends on the field of energy renovation and construction of public buildings (schools) in EU, available technologies, materials, approaches, solutions in wood construction / reconstruction. In addition, also some examples of good practice in will be presented.

The recent conflicts in Ukraine and the subsequent economic sanctions adopted by the United States and the European Union toward Russian Federation had considerable weight on trade relations between Italy and Russian Federation, having a negative impact on the economy of our country is not just in terms of export, but also regarding investment of Russian companies in Italy. 

Two years ago, Informest signed a cooperation agreement with the Union of Moscow Companies for the support of the activities of Italian companies in Russia and Russian ones in Italy.

 

The Regional Administration organizes in Udine, on February 10, 2015 at 9:30, at the Auditorium of the Palace of the Region, via Sabbadini 31, an information seminar to explain the objectives and content of programs of transnational and interregional cooperation affecting the regional territory.

During the meeting Informest  will present to institutional and economic regional  stakeholders its strategies on the EU Programming period 2014-2020 and its services in the light of the Framework Convention signed with the Autonomous Region Friuli Venezia Giulia on 22 October.  Informest will support the Central Directorates of the Region in the activation phase of the Strategic partnerships with the territory for the Implementation of the objectives of the Europe 2020 Strategy.
