The 2nd and 3rd Field Visit of the MAESTRALE Project will take place in Sweden on 5 and 7 July, as well as the 3rd Steering Committee. In detail, on July 5 in Göteborg will be held the visit of the company Minesto, a marine energy technology developer that develops Deep Green, an innovative technology for the production of electricity from marine currents. Afterwards, a visit will be held at Wave4Power, which develops the WaveEL system (wave energy). On July 6, the 3rd Field Visit will take place at the Lovén Center Kristineberg Marine Technology Laboratory with the presentation of the Skagerrak Laboratory site, the SeaFarm project (marine biomass) and the company SeaTwirl (offshore floating wind). Finally, on July 7, the 3rd Steering Committee will be held, during which will be addressed the administrative and technical aspects of the MAESTRALE Project.

On Friday 19 May 2017 at 2 pm, Italian consortium Cortexa will be presenting a webinar seminar titled “How to design a building of the future”.

In the meeting the MED project “SISMA - Supporting Innovative Schemes in the MED Area” will be presented by the Florence Agency for the Energy. SISMA project aims at developing innovative financing schemes based on European Structural Funds and other public funds to finance significant energy retrofits of public building. The project involves 8 partners from 6 MED Countries (Italy, Greece, Spain, France, Bosnia&Herzegovina and Slovenia) and INFORMEST manages the project as Lead Partner.

The workshop will explain the activities of SISMA project and will present a case study of the Tuscany Region to proceed with a further discussion of the guidelines to follow while constructing energy efficient and safe buildings.

Community building event for the INTERREG MED Program selected Modular and Horizontal Projects, “WE are MED. Going beyond thematic communities” will take place in Alicante-Spain,  on the 17th of May 2017.

The key point of the event is to emphasise the inherent knowledge of the 8 thematic communities of the projects approved after the 1st call for projects in 2016, in order for them to acquire a greater degree of self-awareness and certainty on methodologies and aims by sharing practices between each other.


The next meeting of the CRE:HUB project partners will take place on 3rd and 4th May 2017 in Trieste, hosted by Friuli Venezia Giulia Region Regional Department for culture, sports and solidarity.

The first day of the meeting will see the partners outline the further development of the project and coordinate their future activities then partners and stakeholders will in a study visit to discover the important job of FVG Film Commission.


The event organized within the InnoBlueGrowth Horizontal project, funded under the INTERREG Med Programme, will take place in  Villa Celimontana, Rome, on 6 and 7  April.

The main objective of the InnoBlueGrowth project is to ensure the communication and capitalization of projects results, addressing Blue Growth issues as Blue energy,  Maritime surveillance and Yachting. The aim is to increase their impacts towards common identified targets. Activities are focused on the increase of the transnational activity of innovative clusters and networks of key sectors of the Mediterranean area.


The workshop is organised in the frame of the project "Renew School", financed by the European Intelligent Energy Programme, which aims to promote the renovation and the energy efficiency of school buildings through the use of an external enclosure system with prefabricated modular elements in wood.

The objective of the workshop is to provide to planners and architects ideas and innovative solutions for the use of this system during the renovation of buildings, especially public, with focus also on regulatory, structural and energy calculation elements.

The next meeting of the CRE:HUB project partners will take place on 1 and 2 February 2017 in Ljubljana, the centre of the Ljubljana Urban Region where over 40% of all companies in Slovenia’s cultural and creative industries are based. The region is distinguished by a wealth of knowledge and creative potential, as well as key stakeholders who bring together creativity, new technologies, and research to create jobs, innovative products, and services with high added value. One such stakeholder is the Regional Development Agency of the Ljubljana Urban Region (RRA LUR), which works in the framework of the Regional Creative Economy Centre (RCKE) to promote the cooperation of the creative sector with the economy. As a CRE:HUB project partner, RRA LUR is the organiser of the partner meeting.


Project partners and teachers from the schools and educational institutes involved in BlueSKILLS project will meet for the second educational workshop leaded by VET System experts in the Adriatic area to work on a Feasibility study useful to harmonize the schools’ features to VET System rules and criteria, and to produce guide lines for the mobility in order to enhance a common evaluation system, improve the quality of service for the students and a consequent  standardization of the services in the regions involved.

During the second day of the meeting teachers will participate study visits to schools and vocational institutes for a progressive and direct exchange among teachers, students and hosting centers according to Go&Learn e Go&Learnet strategies in order to create the precondition for the future Adriatic network of students mobility.

As partner of CAPTAIN project Informest organises  a training aimed at port operators and managers of the Adriatic-Ionian area dealing with the demand of services to people with different needs and reduced mobility (disabled persons, elderly, minors, pregnant women, etc.) in port terminal structures of the area. The training intends to offer a better understanding of disability and how to meet different needs, aiming to facilitate the integration of Adriatic-Ionian ports with the hinterland.


The conference "The Strategic Development of the Phytosanitary Sector in BiH – Results and Lessons Learned under the EU-funded Twinning Project EU-FITO-BiH is now taking place at the BiH Parliamentary Assembly.


The EUFITO-BiH twinning project is organizing the high level conference “Strategic development of phytosanitary sector in BiH – results and lessons learned under the EU funded twinning project EU-FITO-BiH”, which will be held on Thursday 3rd November 2016 at the BiH Parliamentary Assembly in Sarajevo.

The conference is expected to open the discussion about the current phytosanitary regime in BiH and the obligations deriving from the EU integration path. The Polish experience of pre-accession period will be presented to show the challenges facing BiH. The project results obtained till now will be presented, aiming at standardizing the phytosanitary control system.



On Friday 7th October the “Renew School” project was presented during the workshop “Energy efficiency: a challenge for muncipalities”, organized by KlimaHaus – Agenzia Casa Clima at the Fair “Casa su Misura” in Padua, in the frame of a workshop focused on school building, where Informest will present the project “Renew School” , its activities and scenarios for its applicability in other contexts .


After the Kick-off meeting in Ancona, the second working group meeting  between the project partners and the VET experts took place in Udine. The project partners defined a common strategy on how to manage workshops with participating schools. As a matter of fact, BlueSKILLS project, which wants to capitalize the previous and positive experience of Kepass, the “Erasmus in the Adriatic”, aims to create a strong network in order to create mobility between students based on EUSAIR strategy’s principles.

During the first workshop in Podgorica from 4th to 6th October, schools will be divided into small working groups and the results will be summarized in the Feasibility study in order to get a complete overview of the main criteria to develop a Mobility between schools with a common evaluation system.


Tomorrow Thursday, September 15th 2016 at Faculty of Maritime studies, Studentska 2, in Rijeka partners of CAPTAIN project will meet again for a coordination meeting and Project  MIDTERM EVENT. The public event will start at 14.15.

The event will be open by hosting partner Intermodal Transport Cluster that will present Italy – Croatia programme. 

LP of the project Autonomous Region of Friuli Venezia will illustrate the work carried out by the subgroup on transport for EUSAIR Pillar 2 “Connecting the Region” and the status of the Adriatic-Ionian Maritime Passenger Transport Observatory.


It was held in Trieste on July 15, at the Regional Council Palace, the 1st EUSAIR INFODAY of the CAPTAIN project, organized by the Central Directorate for infrastructure and territory of the Autonomous Region Friuli Venezia Giulia and Informest, respectively Lead Partner and the project partner, dedicated to the capitalization of transport models in the Adriatic-Ionian area to support the development of EUSAIR.

The public event was an opportunity to raise awareness of the territory on the strategy for the Adriatic-Ionian macro-region (EUSAIR) and illustrate how CAPTAIN intends to capitalize the results of AdriaticMoS, EA SEA-WAY and ADRIMOB projects financed by the IPA Adriatic Cross-border Cooperation Programme.

It was held last Thursday, June 30th, the technical workshop organized by Informest within the Renew School project, entitled "Innovative construction for high efficiency timber requalification".

The workshop was held  in the frame of the V Passivehaus Congress of Friuli Venezia Giulia organized by Regional Agency for Energy and was focused on passive house and on principles, opportunities and solutions for houses with high energy efficiency and was an important event for networking among professionals.



It is planned for next Thursday, June 30th, the technical workshop organized by Informest within the Renew School project, entitled "Innovative construction for high efficiency timber requalification".


In the frame of the project Renew School, funded by the European Programme Intelligent Energy #IEE, Technical University of Denmark #DTU, partner of the project, has organized on 26th May 2016 a technical workshop entitled "Deep #retrofit in school buildings", with the aim to involve and inform key stakeholders and Danish designers about the opportunities and benefits of using modular elements in wood for the construction / renovation of school buildings.


It will be held in Aalborg (Denmark) on May 25th the technical workshop "High indoor environmental quality and energy efficient ventilation in renovated school buildings: winning concepts and examples", organized by #Politecnico Milano, partner of RenewSchool project.



It was held Tuesday, May 10 in Zagreb the workshop "Training for building professionals and planers companies in Croatia", organized as part of the Renew School project by the Austrian partners Wood Cluster Styria and from the Slovenian Wood Cluster, where Informest contributed with a presentation on the constructive model applied for the construction in the kindergarten of Capriva del Friuli, embedded within the project as frontrunner, and giving examples of application of elements and components in wood and other natural materials in insulation systems.



EA SEA-WAY project activities are almost concluded and will be presented during the event “Capitalization of results in transport models and passenger mobility for supporting EU Strategy for the Adriatic and Ionian Region (EUSAIR) development” that will be held on May, 11th in Dubrovnik.

IPA CBC Adriatic Programme Managing Authority, Ms. Paola Di Salvatore will open the conference, then pPartners will present project results and challenges, together with main project deliverables, their implementation and transferability. The conference will end with the signature ceremony of the Adriatic-Ionian Maritime Passenger Transport Observatory Agreement.


On May 5th in Shkoder (Albania) will be held Regional Conference organized  by the representatives of Teuleda and of Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure, partners of #easeaway  to present to national stakeholders the activities and the results reached so far by the project. Venue: Hotel Colosseo, starting at 10.45.

After the presentation of the project, the speakers will explain the regional importance of Ports and water transport for economical and touristic development making an analysis of the importance of ports in Albanian economy. 


Dubrovnik Neretva County, as partner of EA SEA-WAY strategic project, is organizing Regional Conference for Development project in transport and logistics. Event will take place in Dubrovnik, Hotel Kompas- Ulica kardinala Stepinca 1, on 5th of April 2016.


ALPARC, the Massif des Bauges Regional Nature Park and Asters organize the workshop "Wildlife and winter sport activities" March 3 and 4 2016. The workshop will take place in the Regional Nature Park Massif des Bauges, in Congress Center "Eau Vive" Lescheraines, France. Winter sport and outdoor activities like ski touring, free riding and snowshoeing have become more widespread – in both, society and space - over the last decade. This trend leads to an increased frequentation of protected areas and their core areas in winter, causing negative impacts on the alpine fauna.


Ancona Port Authority, partner of EA SEA-WAY strategic project, is organizing an Open Day on 26th February at 18.00 at Mercato Ittico del Mandracchio, Ancona.

The open day is a part of the talk around the presentation of “Mappe: Luoghi percorsi progetti nelle Marche”. The event will include three days of special projections and the presentation of “La città perfetta (The perfect city) of Olivo Barbieri”. The partner will present the pilot actions realized thanks to EA SEA-WAY strategic project: the requalification of the yards in front of the cruise terminal and the installation and operation of a wi-fi network to provide free access to internet in the passenger areas and terminals. 


Tomorrow in Bar (Montegro) will be held National conference/Open day organized by the representatives Port of Bar, partner of EA SEA-WAY strategic project. Venue: Head office building of the Port of Bar, meeting room on ground floor, Obala 13 jula bb. After the introduction of EA SEA-WAY Project it will be illustrated the Pilot project - Final design of the extension of the quay at Passenger terminal in Port of Bar. In the second part of the event will be presented the projects BALMAS and EASYCONNECTING and the programmeIPA II 2014 – 2020. Presentation of Software solutions to support the logistics process in the maritime transport will close the event.

The Cooperation Programme Interreg Italy-Austria V-A  for the funding period 2014-2020 was approved by the European Commission on Dec. 1, 2015.

The first projects will be presented in 2016.


On 9 and 10 December will take place in Bologna the launch event of the European territorial cooperation program INTERREG ADRION, approved by the European Commission on 20 October.


10 and 11 December 2015 the Creative Europe Desk Italy organizes the last infoday of the year, dedicated to Creative Europe and cooperation in the cultural and audiovisual sector. Two days to reflect on the concept of cooperation within and beyond the European borders and extend it to the active European citizenship with the program Europe for Citizens.


The fourth meeting of the partners in the project RENEW SCHOOL took place in Stuttgart, Germany, from 18 to 20 November 2015. Partners reviewed the results of previous activities and coordinate activities in the next six months. The meeting was also attended by representative of the European Agency EASME.


The European Commission and the Education, Audiovisual and Culture Executive Agency are organising an Infoday in Brussels to explain the funding opportunities available under "Knowledge Alliances" and "Sector Skills Alliances". Web streaming will take place during the event.

Thousands of local and regional authorities are involved in long-term sustainable energy planning to reduce CO2 emissions and energy consumption. In this context, the collection of data and their quality are often an obstacle to start an effective and convincing energy transition.


Tuesday, November 17, Emilia-Romagna  Region will host the event "A sea of challenges in the Adriatic and Ionian Area" in the Great hall in Viale A. Moro 30 - from 9:30 to 17:00.

The meeting is one of the local events organized for the Open Days in 2015 and follows the seminar held on June 8th, at CNR-INAF of Bologna, on the coastal marine system. The event is organized by the Emilia-Romagna together with Ismar-CNR, CNR-INAF, ISAC-CNR, ENEA Bologna and Clu srl.


From the 19th till the 21st of November, Friuli Innovazione will host in Udine “Arts/Tech/Biz MASH UP”, the event mashing creatives, IT experts, makers, startuppers from Friuli Venezia Giulia, Slovenia and Austria in the development of business projects for the valorization of the territory.

The first trilateral free event that will meet and work together the artist with the computer technician, the maker with the project manager, the designer with the startupper, to transform simple ideas into real business projects!


The S3 Platform together with the Regional Government of Emilia-Romagna are organising jointly the first Peer eXchange & Learning (PXL) workshop on RIS3 monitoring.

PXL – Peer eXchange and Learning is a methodology developed by the S3 Platform for supporting transnational learning in the context of regional and national Smart Specialisation Strategies and territorial innovation and development strategies in general.

The workshop will take place on the 10 November 2015 in the Sala Poggioli in the palace of Regione Emilia-Romagna.


The 3rd Urban Development Network – seminar will be held on 24 November 2015 in Brussels, Belgium, at Atelier des Tanneurs (rue des Tanneurs 60A).

The Urban Development Network is a newly created network targeted towards those urban authorities implementing integrated sustainable urban development strategies funded via Article 7 of the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF).


ExpoItalia will be held in Brussels from 27 to 29 November 2015; is the most important only-Italian event and is held every two years in the European capital.

Organized by the Chamber of Commerce Belgo – Italian, with the support of the Italian Ministry of Economic Development and in collaboration with ICE and the Italian Cultural Institute in Brussels, ExpoItalia pays tribute to the Made in Italy consisting of food and wine, tourism and culture, but also technology, services, business opportunities and investment for businesses.


The European Culture Forum will take place in Bruxelles on 26-27 November. This year's Forum will consist of two full days of debates, including larger plenary sessions focusing on the main aims of the European Agenda for Culture.

Plenary sessions will be launched by thought-provoking inspirational speeches, followed by panel debates bringing in experiences, views and questions from the audience.


On 6th November will be held in Brussels the Info Day on the Smart Cities & Communities topic under the Horizon 2020 Work programme 2016-2017 ‘Secure, Clean and Efficient Energy’.

The event targets potential applicants to the calls for project proposals under the 'Smart Cities & Communities topic' of the Horizon 2020 ‘Secure, Clean and Efficient Energy’. Presentations will cover the Smart Cities & Communities part of the Work Programme for 2016-2017 and the application procedure, as well as detailed information on the calls. Participants will have numerous networking opportunities throughout the day.


INTERACT is organizing an Evaluation Plan Workshop for Cross-border Programmes in Vienna for the 12th November 2015. The event wants to give to cross-border programmes the opportunity to exchange experiences in drafting their evaluation plan.


It will be held on November 12 in Belgrade, Serbia, the event for the Economic Forum entitled “Investing in Serbia: opportunities and regulations”.The meeting will be hosted at the Serbian Chamber of Commerce.

The conference will be structured in two parts: one starting at 16, and a second beginning at 18.30.


It will be held on November 24th starting at 9 am the 14th Annual Conference of Coordination of Research Institutes of Friuli Venezia Giulia titrated “Innovative tools to support research and innovation of businesses: research infrastructure and pre-commercial procurement of R&D services”. The Interreg Alpine Space programme invites you to save the date for the: “AlpWeek: Alps & People” that will be from the 11th to the 15th  October 2016, in Grassau, Germany.

The Alp Week takes place every four years. It is an international event on sustainable development and related Alpine issues, organized jointly by key Alpine organizations.

It will be held in Trieste from 24th to 27th October the 24th World Convention of Abroad Italian Chambers of Commerce (CCIE). The event is organized by Assocamerestero in collaboration with the Chamber of Commerce of Trieste and the special company Aries. Saturday 24 and Sunday 25 will be reserved for internal work of foreign delegates. On Monday 26 there will be the public session with the convention “EXPOrtare: new scenarios for the Made in Italy”. Tuesday 27, the all day will be dedicated to One-to-One meetings between representatives of CCIE and local companies inclined to expand their activities beyond national borders.


The Managing Authority organizes a 'road show' of five events, one for each province and one for the mountain area, to present the guidelines of the ROP ERDF 2014-2020 programming. Each meeting will cover an in-depth "focus " to program thematic area. The events of the Road Show to present the ROP ERDF 2014-2020 of the Region Friuli Venezia Giulia will be held from 20th October to 5th November.
