Belgrade Investment Days is a new Annual investment programme of Serbia and South East Europe. The inaugural conference will be held in Belgrade 21- 22 September 2015. The Luxembourg presidency of the Council of the European Union will organise an event to celebrate the 25 years of Interreg with the support of the European Commission andINTERACT.

The event will take place at Campus Belval in Esch-sur-Alzette, Luxembourg. In 2015, Interreg celebrates its 25th anniversary. A quarter of a century playing an active role in regional development and European cohesion, improving the life of people and supporting local economies.

13th Edition of Wuropean week for region and cities will be held on 12-15 October 2015 in Bruxelles.

With the headline of 'Europe's regions and cities: partners for investment and growth' 2015 will be structured around three thematic priorities:

  1. 'Modernising Europe': The regions in the energy Union and the single digital market
  2. 'Regions open for business': SME development, innovation and job creation
  3. 'Places and spaces': Urban and rural development; urban-rural integration

Under the three sub-themes, participants are invited to address challenges and solutions related to management and implementation issues as well as the cross-border, inter-regional or transnational dimension.  

 

On 9th and 10th June EA SEA-WAY partners will meet in Pula to discuss the state of the art of project  activities and the organization of open days and regional events of to present to public the investments and the pilot actions that will involve the Adriatic ports participating to the project.

During the Cross Fertilization Workshop it will discussed the role of common projects and initiatives in the development of sustainable passenger transport models within the Adriatic – Ionian area and the possibilities of project funding in the framework of cross-border and transnational cooperation programmes within the EU Programming period 2014 – 2020. It will be presented  past, ongoing and future planned projects and initiatives on projects: AdriaticMos (Adriatic Motorways of the Sea),ADRIAIR (Airport Security and Air Taxi Network in the Adriatic) and a Project for the Construction of the passenger terminal in the Port of Pula (cape Guc).

The Interreg Europe Workshop will held on June 10th and 11th in Brussels. A day and a half of practical exercises and guidance on how to prepare your project ideas for the first call for proposals  under Interreg Europe. Practical exercises will help you understand programme application criteria. You will have a chance to exchange experience in project development with other participants. And you can also discuss your project idea further with the organizers during individual consultations.

This workshop is for lead applicants. That means only representatives of institutions with a developed project idea can participate. So, if you have sent the project idea feedback form and received the feedback from the managing authority  that your idea is relevant to the programme objectives, you are invited to register to the workshop.

 

The County of Istria, partner of the project KEPASS, is again engaged in training: will take place tomorrow, May 26 in Porec, a course for teachers on the exchange of knowledge in school systems: why is important how to promote it.

The main theme of the course, which will be held by Dr. Silvana Brunelli Tiani, is collaboration: how to  teach it, how to implement it come in several contexts: in class, in school, in between schools. The target audience will be teachers of the schools in the region accredited in the program Kepass mobility, held in the first quarter of the Year.

In a sign of collaboration it was held on May 12 in Rovinj another KEPASS event that saw the birth of the collaboration between the provincial councils of students in the Region of Istria and Friuli Venezia Giulia.

 

The final event of the Project REMIDA focused on: "Energy Efficiency improvement of public buildings from Friuli Venezia Giulia to the Mediterranean: regulations and success stories."was held in Gorizia on May 13th. The Conference was opened by: Mara Černic, Vice President of the Province of Gorizia, Sara Vito, Regional Councillor FVG for environment and energy, Roberto Sartori, deputy mayor of Gorizia, Enrico Bertossi, president of Informest and Rupert Gole, mayor of the municipality of Šentrupert Slovenian.

 

Tomorrow, May 13 from 9.00 at Palazzo Attems, Piazza De Amicis 2 - Gorizia will take place the final event of the Project Remida, funded by the MED Programme. Themes of the conference will be: Efficient Energy Management in the municipality area, Energy Efficiency and Intelligent Community, the Public Private Partnership and Regulatory.

It will be held in Senigallia, Thursday, May 14, at the Hotel City, the final conference of the project Kepass which aims to promote European integration through the schools. The project, funded under the program IPA CBC Adriatic, in the course of its two years of operation, has launched, on an experimental basis, a system of mobility of students from high schools in the region Adriatic-Ionian macro-based mutual recognition of school credits. There were involved 27 schools, in all the territories involved, which hosted 105 students.

The conference BUILDING AND WOOD - RESTRUCTURING WITH SUSTAINABLE TECHNIQUES will be held on May 12 2015 at the Austrian pavilion at EXPO Milano. Friday, April 10, at 9:30 am, will be held at the Learning Center naturalistic Basovizza 224 - Trieste the final conference of the project Julius "Cultural heritage valorization and use of infrastructure in the crossborder area of the Julian Alps" of which the town of Monfalcone is leader.

Speakers will be Gualtiero Pin, Environment Counsellor of Monfalcone Municipality and the responsible of the Joint Technical Secretariat of the Programme CBC ITA - SLO 2007-2013.

Rada Orescanin, Municipality of Monfalcone, will present the project results, Saverio D’Eredità, Informest will illustrate Guide Julius, while representatives of the Park Julian Alps and of Triglav Slovenian National Park will describe the activities carried out in the two protected areas. 9th and 10th March project partners of Kepass project will meet in Rovinji principals and tutors of schools that participated to mobility programme. After two months from the conclusion of trimester that hundred students spent abroad, the meeting has the aim to evaluate the project work, discuss educative and logistic aspects of mobility period and to present proposal for a possible prosecution of the project.

15 Istrian students will talk about their experience abroad and will present a video realised by foreign students that studied in the school of Istria Rgion from September till December 2014.

 

It will be held on 12th March a Workshop on the way to achieve indoor quality for our children with cost effective investition by nearly Zero-Energy Buildings (nZEB) standard together with the HOME Fair  in Ljubljana Exhibition and Convention Centre, followed by a frontrunner visit on school renovation on nZEB standard.

The purpose of the Technical Workshop for Professionals and Architects is to demonstrate state of the art and trends on the field of energy renovation and construction of public buildings (schools) in EU, available technologies, materials, approaches, solutions in wood construction / reconstruction. The recent conflicts in Ukraine and the subsequent economic sanctions adopted by the United States and the European Union toward Russian Federation had considerable weight on trade relations between Italy and Russian Federation, having a negative impact on the economy of our country is not just in terms of export, but also regarding investment of Russian companies in Italy. 

Two years ago, Informest signed a cooperation agreement with the Union of Moscow Companies for the support of the activities of Italian companies in Russia and Russian ones in Italy.

On 11th December, MER project’s final conference will be held at the Accademia delle Scienze (address: via Zamboni 31, Bologna); the Province of Bologna joins the project as its Lead Partner. Today 6th of November is taking place in Ljubljana the Final Conference of the ID:WOOD Project: Clustering knowledge, Innovation and Design in the SEE WOOD sector, started two years ago and co-financed by Transnational Cooperation Programme South East Europe. The event has been preceded by the 3rd international scientific conference A.L.I.C.E. on the topic “Bridges between design and management” organized by the Faculty of Design in Ljubljana, aim to raise awareness of design and management. The conference brought together researchers and professionals from academia, arts, design, business and industry to present their innovative work and discuss all aspects and challenges in a stimulating environment.

 

The strategic project for the European Territorial Cooperation in the South East Europe area MMWD "Migration for Development" (www.migration4growth.eu), including  in the partnership the Autonomous Region of Friuli Venezia Giulia, has come to its final stage. Friday, October 31 the Roadshow for the internationalization of enterprises organized by the National Institute for Foreign Trade comes in Udine. The President Enrico Bertossi will speak about the contribution that Informest gave to the regional economy through the attraction of European funds for our businesses.

The event will open with a plenary session, which will see the participation of experts in the field of internationalization, which will illustrate the opportunities and tools to access foreign markets. Businesses, according to a fixed timetable, will then meet in the course of the day, the specialists of the sector for the development of internationalization plans.

Partners and associates of the 8 Countries involved in the project (Italy, Slovenia, Croatia, Bosnia-Herzegovina, Serbia, Montenegro, Albania and Greece) will participate to the technical board together with relevant stakeholders and technical experts selected by the partnership with the aim to analyse the possible interventions in the sectors of info-mobility and of passenger services in the Adriatic Ports.

In the past months partners organized local working groups to select contents and priorities to define a sustainable strategy for passenger mobility in the Adriatic basin, objective of CBB, that represents a governance tool to support the Adriatic Ionian Macro Region.

EA SEA-WAY project aims to develop integrated and sustainable transport services and to improve physical structures and connections between Adriatic ports and its hinterland.

 

REMIDA and MER Projects are cooperating together again in Friuli Venezia Giulia (Italy) for a 4 day local trainings and events focused on: energy efficiency, renewable energy, smart energy communities, industrial areas sustainable development, green marketing and green economy.

The trainings will be held from September 2nd to September 4th, while on September 5th a final conference open to the public will gather all the participants together in order to share ideas, knowledge and tools on the mentioned topics.

The trainings will be structured as mini-twinnings during which selected experts acting as trainer will provide best practices and lesson learned on energy optimization in urban planning, innovative solution on energy efficiency and establishment of Public Private Partnerships (PPPs). The topics related to: green marketing sector and good practices for sustainable and responsible economic development in industrial areas are examined and deepened on the first day.

 

MER and REMIDA projects funded by the transnational programme of European territorial cooperation as well as Futurelights project financed by the Cross-border Cooperation Programme Italy-Slovenia 2007-2013 will have an Info-Point at the Vegetarian and Environmental Festival that will be held in Gorizia (Italy) from July 4th to July 6th (http://www.festivalvegetariano.it/?lang=en)

Such initiative is a result of the synergies between ongoing projects with similar objective and themes even though are financed by two different Cooperation Programmes

 

Cherplan final conference will be held on 28th May starting from 9.30 at "Salone del Parlamento" Udine Castle.

Cherplan is a project financed by the South East Europe Transnational Cooperation Programme.

The event will be a very important opportunity to discuss with the partnership and the speakers on cultural heritage, sustainable environmental planning at an international level and through presentation of best practice and cases study.

The discussion will be focused by workshops aimed at collecting ideas and establishing partnership for the new Programming Period.

Levante Port Authority, partner of EA SEA-WAY project organises the second cross-fertilization event “Innovation, Knowledge and Market in Maritime Economy 2020: the role of European Projects toward more sustainable transport network”, in the framework of B@Maritime Day“- Monday 19th May,h. 14.00, Cruise Terminal, Bari Port.

The event will involve operators, passengers, stakeholders, students police agents, with the aim to feed an open debate on the opportunities given by sea economy.

 

Informest has organised a joint event between the project PROFILI and the project REMIDA, titled “Public Private Partnership in the building sector and for improving energy efficiency. The results of the projects “PROFILI” and “REMIDA”.

Aim of the joint event is to develop synergies between the results of PROFILI "Creation of a cross border platform for the improvement of the building sector", a standard project funded by the cross border cooperation programme Italy - Slovenia, and REMIDA "smart energy chains and communities in the MED area", a project funded by the transational cooperation programme MED 2007 - 2013.

INFORMEST together with Autonomous Region of Friuli Venezia Giulia - Central Directorate for infrastructure, mobility, spatial planning, public works, university organises the first cross-fertilization event in the framework of EA SEA-WAY Project: “SHARING FUNCTIONAL EXPERIENCES IN ACCESSIBILITY AND MOBILITY OF PASSENGERS”, Tuesday 4th February 2014, h 14.30, Hotel Savoia Excelsior Palace, Riva del Mandracchio, 4 – Trieste.

The event is organised in the framework of EA SEA-WAY: Europe Adriatic Sea Way, strategic project approved by  IPA Adriatic CBC Programme 2007-2013, leaded by Friuli Venezia Giulia Region and in which Informest is partner. 

 

The Youth Adrinet final meeting and conference were held in Pula on the 16th-17th of December. It was the opportunity to present the last outputs produced by the project and the official occasion for discussing and deciding how to assure the follow up of the initiative. Protagonists of the first day of the meeting wereyoungsters coming from the partner territories who were involved in a debate on youth policies with politicians. The second day of the meeting was the occasion of the official signatures of the “Memorandum of understanding” by all the politicians of the partner territories, Informest and Forser. This subscription wants to ensure the sustainability of the social processes started in the project

It was held on 27th November, in Pristina the final conference of the twinning project "Support to the Ministry of Environment and Spatial Planning of Kosovo" where Informest participates as partner together with the Agency for Environmental Protection of Veneto Region, the Tourin Metropolitan Water Company and, on the French side, among others, with the Ministry for Environment.

At the conference participated many local stakeholders and representatives of departments of the Ministry for Environment and spatial planning, expressing satisfaction for the results achieved and for the activities done in the two years project.

 

The second study tour will be held from 3th to 5th November in the north east of Italy and more precisely in Friuli Venezia Giulia Region.

On the first day the MER delegation will visit the Consortium for the Industrial Development of Tolmezzo – Industrial Area of Amaro (UD) created in 1964 with the aim of promoting the socio-economic growth of the so called “Upper Friuli”, developing the area under its jurisdiction to favour the arrival of new companies, as well as the consolidation and increased competitiveness of those already existing. 

 

Moscow will host today the Third Annual Conference of the “Moscow Entrepreneurs Association”, an organization of industrialists based in the Russian capital, during which a cooperation agreement with Informest will be signed in order to improve the internationalization of the Italian and Russian companies. Informest is been working in Russia for many years and it has a long experience in the implementation of development projects, as well as it has organized many initiatives for the commercial penetration in Russia of the Italian companies. Now, thanks to the collaboration with the “Moscow Entrepreneurs Association” Informest can promote even more effective the portal www.expolive.it , the new information tool developed in co-operation with the Autonomous Region Friuli Venezia Giulia and specifically dedicated to the business between Italian and Russian enterprises.  EXPOLIVE project is on the wave of the re-launched economic co-operation between Italy and Russia , as stated by Presidents Vladimir Putin and Enrico Letta during the intergovernmental summit, which was held in Trieste just a few days ago.

 

Digital ecosystems, Internet of Objects, Wireless Sensor Networks. This is the future, a world in which the objects are interconnected, transmit data about themselves and acquire intelligence thanks to the fact of being able to communicate between them. A network based on autonomous electronic devices able to fetch data from the environment, process data and communicate.

These topics are going to be discussed at the conference DIGITAL BUSINESS ECOSYSTEMS - New technologies for the enterprise of the future, that will be held on Monday November 25th at the Hotel Perla in Nova Gorica.

 

In the framework of ITHREU project: Italy and Croatia: a partnership for Europe, co-financed by Italian Ministry for Economic Development, Informest organises the final conference, Friday 15 November 2013, 10.30 a.m., Trieste – Hotel Savoia Excelsior Palace, Riva del Mandracchio, 4.

During the event it will be organised a roundtable to compare regional needs and strategies to be used to enhance territorial cooperation between the two Countries. Project results will be also displayed.

 

In the frame of Italia-Slovenia 2007-2013 Programme, the Rovigo Province organized on 16th October a training day focused on networking among operators and itineraries for the tourist development of the territory.
To the conference, held at Villa Cagnoni Boniotti in Villamarzana, participated Italian project partners and several tourist operators of the programe area.

 

Thanks to the project “Adristorical lands”, funded by the IPA Adriatic programme and aimed at promoting tourism in our historic towns and fortified cities, and with the active partnership of Informest, our region has been visited these days by a select number of professionals of the sports tourism sector, in the frame o fan educational tour organizza with the joint collaboration of Veneto Region, Veneto Walled Town association and Marittime Museum of Piran.

 

The first ID:wood regional Open day will take place in Pordenone on the 16th October at the SICAM - International Exhibition of Components and Accessories for the Furniture Industry. The aim of the event is to inform and update the regional stakeholders and business actors on project activities and to give  the wood sector clusters involved in the project an opportunity to present their activities/territorial specializations and to check new opportunities. On the 17th and 18th of October the ID:wood project partners will take part at the course dedicated to cluster managers on Intangible assets and Internationalization. The course will be held at the Polo Tecnologico di Pordenone premises.

At the start in October the training courses for the staff of clusters and technology centers in the wood sector. The courses dedicated to the technical staff of technology centers that operate in the service of the wood will be held from 1st  to 3rd  October in Belgrade-Serbia (focus on building material) and from 22nd to 24th  October in Sibiu-Romania (focus on materials, safety and design). The courses for the cluster orgs. will take place on 17th -18th  October in Pordenone-Italy (focus on intangible assets and internationalization-BRICS) and on 6th -7th  November in Ljubljana-Slovenia (focus on design). The event in Pordenone will be completed by an ID:wood Open day at SICAM Fair on the 16th of October. More news in brief .... Stay tuned!

It will be held in Sežana, Tuesday October 1, 2013 at 9:00 am, at the headquarters of OOZ (http://www.ooz-sezana.si/) in Kraška ulica 6, the workshop dedicated to cross-border tourism network of Italian-Slovenian Karst , entitled "Guidelines for Marketing intensive". The meeting, organized by the Regional Economic Slovenian Union, forms part of the initiatives promoted by the project on the territory "iCON - Competitiveness of SMEs, innovation and business cooperation," a strategic project of the program of cross-border cooperation Italy-Slovenia co-financed by the European Fund for Regional Development. It will be held in Koper, on Tuesday, September 24, 2013 at 10:00 am, at the headquarters of the Chamber of Economy of the Coast in Via Ferrara 2, the conference dedicated to entrepreneurship support institutions of the Italian-Slovenian border region, consultants and all individuals committed to giving support to the economy of the border. The conference, organized by the Regional Development Centre of Koper, forms part of the initiatives promoted on the territory by the project "iCON - Competitiveness of SMEs, innovation and business cooperation," a strategic project of the program of cross-border cooperation Italy-Slovenia, co-financed by the European Fund for Regional Development.
