The second meeting of the Project RENEW SCHOOL will take place on  21-24 October 2014 in Oslo, Norway. The project promotes the sustainable renovation of school buildings based on three key elements: the outer envelope, façade,  of the building with wooden prefabricated modules with wooden windows, solar shading and ventilation components; improved quality of the indoor environment ( IEQ ) by ventilation , passive cooling and use of natural light ; energy savings through the use of renewable sources of energy in school buildings .

During the meetings scheduled in Oslo and coordinated by the local partner ASPLAN VIAK http://www.asplanviak.no  , concrete examples of application of this technique will be presented . The partners will participate to a workshop with the Green Building Alliance and the Oslo School Administration.
