INTERACT is organizing an Evaluation Plan Workshop for Cross-border Programmes in Vienna for the 12th November 2015. The event wants to give to cross-border programmes the opportunity to exchange experiences in drafting their evaluation plan.

The regulation for the 2014-2020 European Structural and Investment Funds requires that Interreg programmes should draw up an evaluation plan. The objective of this workshop is to allow for exchange on the different parts of the evaluation plan as well as on the experiences and challenges of programmes, such as planning impact evaluations, defining appropriate methods and collecting data. The participating programmes should bring along their evaluation plan drafts. Throughout the workshop guidance and feedback will be available from a representative from the Evaluation Unit of DG Regio.

The workshop is directed at Joint Secretariats, Managing Authorities and programme staff directly involved in the drafting of evaluation plans of cross-border programmes. The workshop is limited to 25 participants, will be held in English and will be repeated in January/February. For participating registration is required. The deadline for registration for the workshop is 3 November and you can register at this link.
