The workshop entitled “Promoting sustainable energy – Data quality to support local action” is organized in the metropolitan city of Turin on the 19th November. The event isunder the Covenant of Mayors and the European project DATA4ACTION. Thousands of local and regional authorities are involved in long-term sustainable energy planning to reduce CO2 emissions and energy consumption. In this context, the collection of data and their quality are often an obstacle to start an effective and convincing energy transition.

The project DATA4ACTION, co-funded by the European Union, foresees that 12 energy observatories, including that of the metropolitan city of Turin, develop and strengthen their own course of action to overcome those barriers. During the event there will be presented some examples of how to support local action to promote energy sustainability. On this occasion, the Piedmont Region will also provide information on the prospects for financial and technical support of the Action Plans developed. The event will be divided into three conference sessions and will be available the simultaneous translation English/Italian.

The first session is titrated “From data to action”, the second session will be “Energy data collection and data quality improvement”. The third session will be an interactive session titrated “Socio-economic data and communication”.

To participate you must register here. For members of the Chamber of Architects it is necessary to register here in order to have recognized the credits.
