The CARE project partners, funded by the Italy - Austria Program, are rapidly going on in the project activities: the analysis of the current status of the social assistance level in the three areas of Friuli Venezia Giulia, Veneto and Tirolo allowed, in the first half of 2018, to draw a first cross-border model for the profile of Case&Care managers.

This figure, innovative both in Italy and Austria, should have the task of facilitating the coordination of the system of social and health services on the territory, collecting information on any problems, providing services for patients and intervening to facilitate the solution through a systematic networking of the operators involved. An ambitious project, the one identified, with an initial 12-month experimental action that will start in February 2019. During this period, the Case&Care manager will act directly on the territory, dialoguing with operators and actors involved in social welfare services . At the end will be defined some guidelines for the regional administrations for the systematization of the profile of Case&Care in the territory. For Friuli Venezia Giulia, the UTI Medio Friuli and the Healthcare Company no.3 with the Codroipo District take part in the project, while Informest has the task of supporting the partners in communication activities.
