The Tessitori Hall of the Regional Council, in Oberdan square in Trieste, will hold the public event “the commitment of the public authorities on climate change – new working patterns”, on Wednsday the 29th of May, at 9 a.m. The event is organized as part of the project SECAP, funded by the Interreg Italia-Slovenia 2014-2020 program.

 

The SECAP project “support energy and climate adaptation policies” aims to a cross-border sharing of methods, tools and databases to speed up the development of the Action Plans for Sustainable Energy and, secondly of the Action Plans for Sustainable Energy and Climate. These ones include specific measures to take steps towards the climate change mitigation. The transition from APSE to APSEC, towards a low carbon emission society, will come with proof in some pilot applications in Municipalities/UTI/Metropolitan Cities, which have already joined the Mayors Agreement, and will help with the launch of APESC models with infrastructural investments.

Informest gives its operative support to the Autonomous Region Friuli Venezia Giulia, lead partner of the project. The other partners are: University of Trieste, Area Science Park, Venice Metropolitan City, IUAV University of Venice, Unioncamere Veneto, GOLEA – Nova Gorica’s energy agency, LEAG – Gorenjska energy agency, RRA LUR Agency for the Regional Development of theRegion of Ljubljana and the Municipality of Pivka.
