The first meeting for 2021 of the project Interreg Italy-Croatia RESPONSe opened yesterday with good news: the municipality of Montemarciano, a pilot area in Marche region, also joined the Covenant of Mayors for Climate&Energy last December. Along with Lignano Sabbiadoro, two of six RESPONSe pilot areas officially join the European initiative that commits participants to implement concrete actions for adaptation to the climate change.
The intensive work, done by the partners in the recent months to collect the data necessary for the vulnerability and risk assessment plans, will feed into six documents. On the basis of these documents, the partners will elaborate six SECAPs (Sustainable Energy and Climate Action Plan), one for each pilot area.  In addition to Montemarciano, there are also Lignano Sabbiadoro and Brindisi on the Italian front and Cres, Šibenik and the Neretva estuary on the Croatian side.

The European Commission recently published a Report on Intra-EU Labour Mobility 2020, that identifies trends in free movement of European workers (people between 20 and 64) and their family members, based on the latest available data (2019/2018), in EU and European Free Trade Association (EFTA) countries.

The main document is accompanied by the Labour mobility at a glance paper that summarizes the main results of the Report.
